to be fair he established himself at the best of every division he ofught in except LMW

 

Floyd has far too much for anybody around today at 147 or even 154 its a shame he won't step into the ring with them guys and prove it

Thats about right but I can understand why people might feel like they have been short changed with Mayweather

If Pac wins tonight I see a Floyd/Pacman fight down the road definitely-usually Larry Merchant probes the winner with questions about potential future fights so we'll wait and see.

 

This fight vs JMM is a perfect example.People would rather see him fight guys like Cotto,PW,Clottey,Mosley even Berto is a fight at the right weight rather than a guy who fought as a SFW just over a year ago.I would rather him retire and I wouldn't knock him for it like others say he is retiring ducking those guys mentioned(which is bollocks of course)

I think Floyd would win the rematch, but if he gets complacent and doesn't shake off the ring rust who knows Ricky might make it a bit closer. The only time I've ever seen Floyd even remotely rattled was at the machester press conference (it took him ages to decide whether to come out or not) and that was only a couple of hundred people. Imagine 80,000.

Personally I'd love to see him JMM. The actual weight difference on the night won't be massive and it'd be an interesting fight.

I think it will probably be on Sky, I wouldn't be surprised if they pared it with a domestic card as put it on as PPV.

I was spoilt for choice.

Let's be honest, Marquez will at least go for it as he knows the real prize is not a win over Floyd but a third contest with Pac.

But Floyd vs. Pac could actually happen if Floyd wins. I think Floyd will be too big for Marquez, and too fast, and I think Marquez's excellent powers of recovery will be pushed to their limits within five rounds, unless Mayweather wants to get some rounds in, then I think Marquez will last til about the ninth.

Nah, that Mitchell fight will get moved to the Khan undercard. Mitchell seemed convinced on the Bunce Hour that he could "sell out the o2" and that he would headline a show in july, but it just seems impossible that Warren would have him fight on a separate card to Khan, at the same venue, a few weeks apart.

I like Mitchell, and I really mean no offence, but Mitchell headlining at the O2 would do worse business than Haye v Barrett.
