Yeah, makes the most sense.

Since he does have the option to fight a tune up and work on the mechanics that troubled him in the Pavlik fight....the smart move would be to do just that.

Tho, I given his track record, I doubt he will fight a stiff.

 

Have a tuneup fight against a good fighter and then go after a Pavlik rematch

 

He'll take the rematch.

 

He should fight Mora and then go after Kelly Pavlik in the summer of 08.

 

No doubt, he will take a rematch. He has to much pride, to me, his career is on the line. I just don't think his mechanics will ever change, he is who he is. A win against Pav in a rematch would be HUGE! A loss, does him in for good. The guy has tons of $$$.. Take the rematch and lets see how much heart you have.

 

He had Pav beat... I think way toooo many individuals under estimating Jermain and I have a felling he will pull out a win in the rematch.

 

Jermain has an awesome chance of putting Kelly down for good in the rematch. Jermain had him, HAD him, but finished poorly, I think he got caught in the moment.

In the rematch, if something anywhere remotely close to that happens, Jermains the new champ.

 

He'll never beat Pavlik, but I do agree that he thinks he will and thus a summer rematch. Then you will see a real ass kicking.

 

Yea but what if he cant finish him up next time? PAvlik will soften him up and knock him out again.

 

People got to remember that was Kelly first world title shot. He must of been really nervous in the early rounds and was doing stupid things like taunting Jermain and leaving his hands down. I think the second fight will be better and I think they both improve as fighters but I still see Kelly winning that fight. I think Jermain should win a fight or two and should earn a rematch with Kelly. I think it would be a better fights if Jermain can get a win or two under his name.

 

If he wants a belt he can go to Germany and fight Sturm.
