    Resurrect Futch.

Breland is not a terrible choice by any stretch of the imagination.

Mayweather if he’s serious about wanting to train people.

Archie Moore was a good coach for a great classic boxer.

Big daddy Bowe would have shown Joshua how a good big man beats a good little man by showing him how he did it in the first fight with Holyfield.

If we were talking about TRAINERS, and this thread is asking us to assume the following:

    1) We need to win at any cost

    2) Joshua's chances in a rematch are almost nil

...then the correct choice is probably Panama Al Lewis. It's a big advantage to be willing to shamelessly cheat. But he's also a terrible person and might land Joshua in jail, so for reasons unrelated to the in-ring action, Joshua would likely decline his help.

But if we aren't cheating, and want a guy who boxed at one time...Steward.

It would have to be a boxer who also had a decent career as a trainer after. Just being a great fighter doesn’t mean you can teach someone else to do it. Archie Moore is one such example of a great fighter who ALSO made a great trainer.

From that view point, Abe Attell might be the best option. A two pronged attack.
    1. Help Joshua improve as an aggressive technical fighter
    2. Get Usyk to take a dive
