I have read that Charles Burley and Sam Langford were a couple. Who else just off the top of your head? Thanks in advance.

Obviously doesn't compare with the level of avoidance that Burley & Langford suffered but for a time it used to really bug me how much people used to avoid Lennox Lewis

Holman Williams, as classis a fighter ever, was avoided by the top contenders during his prime years,,,Yes, Ray Robinson, who did not go out of his way to meet Williams...,

    Lenny Lewis. :thumbsup

Tyson DUCKED Lenny Lewis in 1996, cos he only offered him $13.5mill [****ing chump change] And that Only $5.5mill more then Old Holyfeild got!!! Lennox was worth AT LEAST $20mill or $25mill IMO. And Tyson Ducked Lenny cos teh contract had Donny-K options in it for when Lewis won, teh same unfair options 99% of Tysons' comp had to accept!! Tyson = ****ing coward. If Midget Mike wanted to fight Lenny, he would of Offered him $20mill [or More ] And no King-Options. :deal

Prime Bowe DUCKED green Lenny, threw his belt in teh trashcan to take a Multi-fight Contract/deal for more money instead,, when he should of being a man with BALLS And defended it VS him.

Holyfeild DUCKED Lenny in 1997 And 1998,, making him wait until ****ing 1999 for title-shot - when IMO he deserved a Title-shot since 1995//1996.

    FOREMAN HOOOOOOK!!:rasta

Very true Turpin :good If McCallum had been included in the Duran-Hagler-Leonard-Hearns axis,we'd be talking about the Big 5 today, instead of the Big 4.

As strange as it to say about a man who fought practically everyone(several times over), Harry Greb was avoided. At least by several world champions: Carpentier, Siki, Delaney, Berlenbach and Dempsey.

    Duillio Loi at lightweight perhaps?

It may have just been his being based in Italy that held him back though.
