Of all the classic threads here, which would you say you had the most fun in, or maybe where you learned the most? Maybe it was a somewhat bad experience, a heated argument. Maybe it was a great learning experience you witnessed from afar.

    Which one was it?

i'll say about 8 months ago there was a brilliant harry greb appreciation thread that i loved and really learned a lot from

not to be a douche, but my ATG top 10 thread i learned a lot from because there was some fantastic feedback on it that will help with future lists

That 'Pick out modern differences' thread McGrain started on Welsh vs McFarland was superb.

We lost a lot of good info when the site got hack.

    A lot of great threads.

I have been in a few wars, and in some ways I value my interactions with quality posters of different opinions the most.

    ...a few with me, janitor.

And they always ended very well; I still fondly recall accidentally raising an analogy about paleontolgoists (?) and then you raised my eyebrow at least when you revealed that as your own field.

McGrains' thread that GPater brought up is one of my favorite (modern) reads.

There was a thread about different styles of defensive fighters a few months ago. It was awesome.
