Along with the JFK assassination, 9-11, and the reasons behind the Iraq War, everyone has a different opinion on the real reason why Pacquiao - Mayweather fell through. There have been about 50,000 posts on the subject, so obviously, differing opinions have been muddled...so to make it easier, I made a poll...which side of the so-called conspiracy are YOU on?

Pacquiao and his people have done everything possible to avoide fighting Mayweather.

False. Mosley upsets Mayweather. Clottey makes Pac look awful and they fight for 20 mil, while Mosley signs to fight PW and conclude his career with a UD loss. That is my prognostication for the WW division. Oh, and Floyd bolts Naseem Hamed style and spends the rest of his life flushing away his millions and talking about how he was robbed and the judges were racists.

Boxing recedes back to a lull until Gamboa gets into a war with a Morales-Barerra type rivalry and that will capture our attention for the remaining year and a half.

Mark my words...this is how it will all pan out.

There should be a special option to flag Mayweather-Pacquiao threads for deletion.

    This fight never mattered.

    Mods?

    This may be highly controversial.

But dare I say it. I believe there has been occasions were professional boxing judges have been paid off to be partial towards one fighter in the ring.

I know a lot of you are thinking."No, that cant be true in this modern day and age, some of these guys are just really stupid". But it just happens too much IMO for it to be a coincidence.

    The Short Version ........

floyd wanted 6 mths to promote the fight.

manny has political dreams in may so said march.

floyd said wind your neck in we have to promote longer for a
    bigger purse.

floyd got pissed from bad press by manny beating his opponents
better than him so stated a steroid rumour to hype the fight
and give him some brownie points.

manny's bum went boo as he knows a positive test will
tarnish his reputation and stop his political dreams so
gives random excuses and lays low for 3 mths to flush
    out his system.

alex ariza goes on a long holiday and doesnt say boo too a goose

roach and arum embarrasingly try to cover up manny's statements
but contradict themselves over and over

both camps meet and agree that its better to postpone the fight
as the will get more coverage and a much bigger purse

arum brings clottey in on a catchweight with no trainer and no blood tests

matthew hatton is busy in a darts match with his brother so cant fight

    goldenboy brings in mosley

    floyd's bum goes boo

FLOYD V MANNY will be NOV / DEC 2010
    Due to popular Demand
    And BIG MONEY

There is no doubt it has happened in boxing at some point. But you make it sound as if you believe it is a common occurrence. Can you give some examples of fights you think may have been fixed, or judges that may have been bought?

    Egos. Definitely.

To be perfectly honest, I don't really think either one wanted to fight the other, and their egos being in the way made for a decent excuse.

I beleive it happens of all the fights in boxing during a year, it happens a about 2 or 3 times were the scoring is unfair. I think most boxing propmoters want to see a fair fight.
