Easy pick for Gomez. The rest with the exception of Bika are non-entities sofar in the sport.

None. These are not the elite fighters enetering the contenders. They are either veterans are dudes who have either been terribly mismanaged or over matched and without an immediate future. The winner take all is a great concept for these type of boxers and gives them newfound wealth and a future.:good

I really like Paul Smith I think he could one day beat one of the weaker title holders. He won't be elite though.

o yea I know I have some of his fights on DVD I really like the guy. I think his frame is much better suited for MW.

I'd say Bika, were it not for the unfortunate fact (for him) that Calzaghe, Kessler, and Bute are all still campaigning at 168 at the moment.

Forbes clearly beat Demetrius Hopkins, who some people seem to see as a factor.

Gomez beat Gatti even worse than the former world champion Baldomir (and if Tata can get a belt, Gomez sure can).

Don't count Sam out at MW.

Forbes. He's already beaten two top 10 caliber guys at 140. Considering how weak the division is, and assuming that it will only get weaker soon (none of the LWs seem ready to move up, and a few of the elites at 140 will probably move to welter because of all the money there), I could see Forbes winning another belt. Gomez wouldn't surprise me either. If Banks can slim himself down a bit and get a real trainer, I could see him contending at 160 3 or 4 years from now as well. Right now he's just carrying too much bulk.

Paul Smith at 160 perhaps, but I'll go with Gomez. Tough kid and being a Welter and to do as well as he did in Season one, I've got a lot of respect for him.
