If anything, Mayweather can revert to pot shotting and fight going backwards but i don't see that plan working against Cotto... this is a good fight and i give Mayweather credit for taking it...

I see it a close decision fight 115-113 Mayweather with Cotto giving Mayweather his most difficult fight in a long time... I do see Miguel Cotto getting cut in this fight as well.

I am telling you, i think we get Cotto vs. Mayweather II.... :hey

Cotto could also be the man to have his number the same way Tarver was the man to have Roy's number. You never know.

This version of Cotto fights differently than the relentless pressure and body attacker of the prime Cotto. I think a 2007-2009 Cotto vs. the same Mayweather would have given us a completely different fight than we are about to see.

Oh I definitely agree he can use intelligent pressure-he controlled the center of the ring beautifully and efficiently that night. But it's not so much whether he can be the aggressor, but how sharp and relentless he can be in coming at an opponent. The Miguel Cotto of old could certainly eat a shot and keep coming. Post-Margarito, we saw that split second hesitation that can make all the difference in exchanges. What I did see though was him willing to exchange with Margarito in key moments of their rematch, and he did not back down from eating a shot while attacking the body and head. I'd like to think his confidence is back, and my only point was that it's going to need to be if he plans to be physical with Floyd.

We'll he said it in the faceoff, that it's not only the most important fight of his career, but the biggest and he wants to win this bad, so I don't think your gonna have to be worried about that. He's gonna be relentless when he has to be in this fight because there's a lot at stake and he and his trainer Pedro Diaz understands that and is why he's putting together a solid stragey for this fight. We're all gonna see a lot of fireworks.:good

One question though. Do you think that cotto's lack of intensity after the first margarito fight, happened only as a result of what transpired in the ring that night, or was it due, in part, to the level of his opposition after that particular fight?
