If you're referring to Rangers fans-

1. A lot of them have Irish heritage. Sectarian violence in the modern era in general is an import from Ireland, a bit like folk-fusion. The Irish are like the poisoned make-up in the first Batman film: a Proddie or a Tam isn't bad by themselves (I cite Dundee), but put them together and you get Glasgow.

2. Most Rangers fans just want to be English anyway. It's not as bad as the Celtic fans though, who want to be Irish.

3. A lot of Wegies are prats and have no right to call themselves Scottish. Again, it's the Irish influence.

or could the sectarian violence seen in scotland not be a product of immigration and rather a product of the violent policies towards catholics launched by the church of scotland,the SNP and the government itself?to ignore that these issues ignited sectarian hatred and is definatly the root cause in segregation in scotland rather than simply a displacement of irish problems to scotland.
