PR does'nt have more Champs than anybody, the USA and Mexico have more. And PR, has been a free Country forever, that's why thet have managed to have around 60 World Champions, if Cuba always had the opportunity to compete freely in the pros, they would be equally with the USA in World Champs, no doubt about that...possibly even more.:good

I believe United States earned more gold medals in the Olympics than Cubans. United States surely produced the best boxers.

we produce on average more champions but the mainstream popularity in the states has dropped since the early/mid 90s. I'm actually fairly confident that it's been on an uptick as of late though, which is good for the global popularity as well.

Good olympic/amateur boxers doesnt equate good pro boxers. By saying there's no doubt that Cuba would have equal amount or more champions than the U.S. is just a dreaming statement.

USA (half the top 10 p4p are American boxers, Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams, Chad Dawson, and Bernard Hopkins), with all the upcoming talent such as Tim Bradley, Devon Alexandar, Andre Dirrell, Andre Ward, there will be more
    Cuba
    Puerto Rico

    in that order

USA - best pro boxers Cuba best amateur boxers. As for the second place it should be a toss up between Mexico and PR. As for the Ukraine/Russa option you know it's not at all the same country you can not put them together. It's like puting USA and Mexico together because they are neighbors.

USA easy. Mexico and then pr. The argument for pr is that it is a tiny island yet they have produced many champions and a good number of greats. But Mexico produces a steady stream of talented tough fighters.

Who really cares? Boxing isn't about that. I hate these types of threads. I really, really hate them.
