    The fact that 7 silvers in one games is a dispointment to Cuba says it all about the standard they set at the games. Plus you have to factor in the fact they had a couple of high profile defectors who might have been competing for a gold at those games (Gamboa & Rigondeaux).

    The Cubans really do set a very high standard in amatuer boxing.

    yeah, i'm glad the OP made sure he specified what country will medal most in boxing, because we all know what country will medal most, overall.

    cuba, usa and mexico. mexico might not win the most medals simply because i don't think they will send boxing representatives for all the weight divisions!

    Beware of China this year nad never underestimate the Thais they always seem to pull in a medal or two.

    I have a feeling China will surprise...a totalitarian country that big tends to win in the olympics when they set their minds to it. And I think they've set their minds to it.
