We all know that Huck had a great fight against Povetkin who is arguably a top 3 HW and possible future champ if he beats Wilder. Huck looked better than ever in his last fight and there is a lot of talk about this new version of Huck, Huck reloaded. We also have cruiserweight Usyk who would be competitive against any boxer and will likely challenge the heavyweights in the future. Steve Cunningham knocked down Fury and gave him trouble. What about Glowacki, do you think he could upset any of the HW champs? Drozd? Lebedev? Which cruiserweights could realistically challenge for the title in the future and have what it takes to beat Martin/Joshua Fury/Klitschko Wilder/Povetkin ?
I give Huck chance against Martin, Fury, Povetkin (rematch). Wilder could beat him if he catches him with some power punch, Huck is often reckless defensively, but the fight would probably be competitive and fun to watch. Klitschko takes this one unless he's shot to pieces. Not sure about Joshua. I can see Usyk beating Martin, Joshua, Wilder and Povetkin.
Briedis seeing as how he beat Charr far more impressively than Povetkin, and Mchunu beat Chambers more impressively than Adamek. I'd give quite a few of them a decent chance at HW. Beating one of the champs, I'm not so sure about. But....Huck, Usyk, Makabu, Gassiev, Durodola, Kudryashov would all probably do well at HW.
Anybody with skill can do well at HW, but nobody wants to just do well, they want to win the championship. I would say no. Very unlikely any CW would do well in that respect.
They might fluke a win (like a lotto winner) but its unlikely they would win an eliminator and they would never successfully defend the belt. Sasha isn't going to beat a talent like the bronze bomber, he has more chance winning lotto.
