Two of those guys are prime, and are close enough in size and weight to fight. And people wonder why they are talked about so often. Two prime first ballot HOFers? How often does that happen?

Spinks retired a long time before Tyson. Spinks is also an ATG, who rates higher than Tyson.

Will Cotto be eligible in all seriousness?

I would hope so as Barry mcguigan is in their and although he was a good fighter he was not great by any stretch of the imagination.

I know what you mean. He missed the boat in some ways. But he's still going. I wonder how much longer he can keep this up. If he remained THE lightweight champion for another year or so...and if they're catching each other at the right time, maybe Marquez/Katsidis will be big. I hope MAG and Addie aren't on the voting board by the time Marquez becomes eligible...

He'll go to the HOF, I'd say. He rumbled with too many guys, win or lose, too much drama, too many fans. But I don't think he'll be a first year guy.

I'd say JMM is a certainty. If Toney is still classed as "current", I'm sure he'll get in there at first time of asking, as will Mosley I dare say.

After that, you get guys who are very likely to get in immediately but not 100% certain, like the Klitschko's and Wonjongkam.
