seems like a lot of todays champions are over the hill, on borrowed time, hyped, or just dangerously complacent. Its highly possible none of these fighters will be champs in 2 yrs

    Calzaghe
    Pacman
    Floyd
    Hopkins
    Pavlik
    maskaev

I like Pac, Floyd and Hopkins to stay. Hopkins would never take a dumb fight.

Probably Calderon, hatton (he will lose to floyd but then pick up another title), Kessler (even if he loses to Joe, Joe will probably retire soon and Kessler will pick the title back up)

Pacman has 2-3 years more. He's a young 29, having only fought bigtime in the last 2-3 years. But since there are many good opponents for him in the lighweight and featherweight classes, and since he only fights bigtime now, he'll age quick.

Pavlik is also young and has only fought bigtime twice he's going to stay champ the longest. He isn't even in his prime yet. 4-5 years more.

Cotto is also a young but he takes to much punishment. He has 2-3 more prime years.

Klitchko doesn't have any worth adversary so he'll stay on top of the heavyweight class for a few more years...age is his biggest opponent right now.

    The Marquez brothers are old.

Calzaghe, Hopkins, Barrera, Mosley Trinidad and Dela Hoya should have retired already, and keep themselves retired.

Taylor and Mayweather should retire early because they're boring. They give boxing a bad rep.

Neither Taylor nor Mayweather gives boxing a bad rep. Mayweather shows the enormous skill of a boxer, and Taylor showed balls for taking the fights he has.

I think there is little doubt that Wladimir Klitschko will still be champ in 2 years. He is only 31 and IMO just comming into his own. IMO he will be champ until he retires in 3-5 years from now:good

Staying a champion simply depends in their promoter's hands.. ;)

Too many contenders for these champions to think of..

I don't see Pavlik being champ in 2 yrs. He takes HUGE punishment.
I swear he went from eloquent talker to rocky speak before and after the Taylor fight
