Good call on Pavlik....I was at the last one, and while that place was at capacity under 10,000, there were THOUSANDS more that wanted tickets, and the event probably should have been held at a larger venue....a mistake Arum won't make again. There were literally hundreds outside in blistering wind and icey snow and rain with signs trying to buy tix on the night.

Maybe James Toney can do it alone.

He would absolutely have to be facing a well known fighter to have a chance. If his fight against Oscar or Hatton took place in the Palace of Auburn Hills (where the Pistons play) or even Ford Field (where the Lions play) then I would venture to say that a sellout would be probable. In 2003 he fought Ndou in his home town of Grand Rapids and I don't know what the final attendance was but it would certainly take a bigger name then Ndou to to fill Ford Field.

    Kessler/Andrade did like 35,000.....

Bute's been selling out in Montreal lately.....

Jackson Bonsu can pack a house in Belgium....

Kelly Pavlik is taking Gatti's place in Jersey.....

There's a prospect named Fernando Guerrero from DR but he lives in Maryland... He was an undercard and was able to put about 5-6 thousand people in the arena.... He's a good fighter to watch so in the next couple years those numbers will jump up....

If the fight takes place in his backyard a lot of boxers draws crowds (like Virgil hill used to do). But I am not so sure that is the case for PBF because he does not have unllike Toney or hearns a lot of fans in Michigan.

This thread needs qualifying further and setting a higher standard like which fighters could sell out a 50,000 capacity stadium. That would eliminate names like BHOP, Mayweather and most American fighters.
