I stand corrected in that Cotto wanted the fight at 145 after Pac said he wanted it at 144, but there was only a catch weight because Pacquiao requested for one and Cotto just pushed for it to be a bit closer to the WW limit, so it wasnt exactly Cottos demand for a catch weight if you get what I mean

I believe that Cleverly and DeGale will do well in their careers (they already have) but it is still too early in their careers to really judge

For a lot of people it's difficult to cross the line between being an exposed hypejob and a very good fighter losing in dominant fashion (which happen to the best).

The fighters in question must have wanted them for a reason

Neither was it Manny's. Pac wanted to stay at 140 and campaign there after beating Hatton but since the money was too good for both fighters they neutrally agreed to meet in the middle.

Pac was the one who wanted the fight at a catch weight not Cotto. I have nothing but praise for Pacquiao but this thread isnt about him and he IS a fighter that has requested catch weights.

Cotto just requested 155lbs against Martinez.

Sugar Ray Leonard a fighter you consider a hype job?

I havent said any fighter on here is a hype job or that requesting catch weights makes a hype job.

In answer no SRL wasnt a hype job but he did having a catchweight fight was designed to suit him and give him an advantage over LaLonde

  12. Manny Pacquiao is not a hype job.

Well you obviously dont want to put Pacquiao on the list because he requested catchweight fights when others on the list that have done so too. Makes no sense.

I have to confess I didnt realise that Cotto was looking to fight Martinez at 155. Still its not a fight that has happend.

What fighters on that list have requested catch weights other than Cotto for a fight that hasnt happend, which I didnt know.

I dont want any fighters on the list that are competing in catch weight fights that they have pushed for to be at catch weights in the first place, that isnt directed at Pacquiao personally
