    Not to me. Chavez's claim to the greatest mexican is as much born of boxing's forgetfulness as it is his own accomplishments

    Manny was near his peak at 135 arguably at his best

    I think he beats them all. Haney in time could be interesting. Davis I think would put up a good fight

    I'm not sold on the rest doing too much

    I posted that like 3 years ago.

    Canto, Olivares and Saldivar definitely have better resumes than Chavez. That isn't even up for debate. What keeps Chavez in the conversation is the fact he went 90 fights without losing.

    I doubt you could even name Olivares, Canto and Saldivar's top five wins.

    Olivares has the Castillo wins, Ramirez, Sakurai, Rose I guess? Chacon? Solid wins and I do have him at my #3 Mexican ATG wise.

    Canto and Saldivar are in the top 10 for certain. Just not greater than Chavez (this is my opinion and I've argued the Mexican greats debate to death. You'll never change my mind so we'll agree to disagree.:eatingburger
