With the recent Pacquiao and Marquez resume threads doing the rounds, it got me wondering - who really does have the best resume?

    Names that jumped out include

Barrera - Morales x3, Pacquiao x2, Marquez, Hamed
    Morales - Barrera x3, Pacquiao x3, Chi
de la Hoya - Mosley x2, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Hopkins
Mosely - de la Hoya x2, Wright x2, Forrest x2, Cotto, Margarito
Hopkins - Calzaghe, Jones, Trinidad, de le Hoya
Wright - Hopkins, Mosley x2, Trinidad, Williams
    Margarito - Mosley, Cotto, Clottey
Taylor - Hopkins x2, Wright, Pavlik x2, Froch
    Cotto - Mosley, Margarito, Clottey

Pacquiao - Marquez x2, Barrera x2, Morales, (Cotto)
Marquez - (Mayweather), Pacquiao x2, Barrera, Casamayor, John, Diaz

    Discuss :bbb

(and let's see if we can keep the Pacquiao vs Marquez thing for their own threads eh guys? :good)

B-Hop (you can argue he isn't currently active) won't be appreciated until he's long retired, IMO. ODLH's resume can't be questioned either. As for the other active fighters- JMM, Pacman and Mosley stand out the most.

You can't really call the others in the list 'active' seeming as they have had long lay-offs/ have been retired for a few years now.

    :good

I know, i'd thought of that. None of them are "officially" retired though, and i wanted to include them just to give the thread a lot more substance

Personally for me I dont consider losses all that much in a discussion about "best" resumes.

Holyfield has more big name defeats, Hopkins has the better wins, so Hopkins.

Good mention. Bradley is coming out beautifully. The community is sleeping a bit.
