    Simple question dudes,

I think it goes without saying that so far, these two dates have been the biggest for boxing this year (as is the case most years). My question is, in your opinion which date was bigger for boxing?

Cinco de Mayo - Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Miguel Cotto

Mexican Independence Day - Sergio Martinez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr & Canelo Alvarez vs Josesito Lopez

The best 147 lbs fighter vs the best 154 lbs fighter or....

A bloated 140 lbs fighter vs a 154 lbs champion and the Middlewight king vs some ass who was given the crown.

    tough choice here.

It'd be hard to go against Mayweather-Cotto seeing as they are 2 of the top 3 draws in the sport, but I liked Sept 15, had a lot of depth and Martinez - Chavez was a fight I really looked forward to so I'd probably go with that one
