i made the list in a few mins, yea you could have guys like tiger, benvuiti etc. those guys are just examples.
this poll was done all wrong. there are fighters in there who had careers that overlapped more than one decade. robinson started in the 40's and finished in the 60's. his best work was probably done in the 50's though. duran's reign at lightweight was in the 70's where he is considered the best lightweight ever...but he also had great performances during the 80's. his career went from the 60's to the 00's. if i had to choose an era....it's between the '40's-50's and the '70's-80's.
80s hands down. It had the so many great fighters in their prime and also had several greats held over from the 70s and upcoming greats that were prime in the 90s. good attempt at a poll but like others said it is flawed
Could be the 90s HW - Lewis CW - Tiozzo LHW - Michalczewski SMW - Calzaghe MW - Eubank To name a few did only say could. Would have to look into it a bit deeper though
80's for me without a doubt. Hagler Tyson Leonard Hearns Duran Mancini Spinks Holmes Sanchez Witatker Pryor James Tillis Meldrick Taylor Holyfield Qwai Arguello Chavez Saad Muhammad Benitez Carl Williams Tony Tucker
