    Which decade do you think had the better B/C-list of lightweights?


    The lists I have bellow aren't ranked, just numbered.


    Which decade takes it iyo?


    Have I left any lightweights out who you think make a top 15?

    There pretty much in order good to worse. I think the 90's and 2000s are debateable if anything but the 80s are the best.

    I like your lists.


    I think the 80's. The way i'm looking at it is, which list would you least like to see a prospect from your hometown try to break into, and I think the 80's would be toughest, then the 00's, then the 90's. I won't argue with anyone who wants to swap 00's and 90's, but yeah, 80's.

    I think the 80's has a pretty good mix-up of styles along with a solid level of comp.
    The top ten are pretty solid all around, though.

    It's between the 80s and 90s.

    Overall i'd go for the 80s, but the likes of Nazarov, Johnston and Grigorian push it close.

    the 00s is a mostly tepid group.

    Looks like 80's is the consensus.

    Cheers. Yeah the 80's would be pretty tough to crack. There's quite a few other guys that could be mentioned there that didn't make the cut that are decent.

    A pretty even bunch I'd say.

    I never would have thought it without having the list in front of me, but I agree, the 90's don't shape up that bad. I used to think the 90's were pretty empty but then the 00's came along and made me reminisce about the 90's.

    Perhaps but clearly above Diaz, Katsidis and probably Casamayor. Guzman didn't do much at the weight but was immensely talented

    Hence the B AND C classifications :good

    Do you think Guzman could beat some of the other lightweights in the 00's list?
