I'm riding with the super flies. Even with a couple of filler bouts on that schedule, they'll help build (or, rebuild) hype for the big one. :deal:

I'm usually loathe to heap praise on the perennially overrated "glamour division" of the sport, but HW could also be set to have a banner year itself.

Naoya has zero credible threats, at least at super bantam.

CBS vs. GRS could be a nice fight, but isn't a blockbuster event for casuals or really anybody outside the UK and Mexico. And after it happens, what are we really looking forward to at CW?

We all of course await Beterbiev vs. Bivol with bated breath, but again...that's one fight.

Canelo vs. Benavidez, Berlanda, Mbilli, Mung, Morrell...? Meh.

    154/160 is a wasteland.

Welter already had its huge match-up come and go. I suppose Boots vs. a few different guys make for interesting possibilities.

140 is ruled by a feather-fisted clinching maniac. (save us, Subriel!)

LW has some very good, but I'm not sure about great, match-ups on paper.

The biggest name by far at 130 is a paleolithic brawler who as of now only holds the WBO title. Nuff said.

Feather's alright. So is bantam, so is fly.

The bottom two weight classes, as usual, are thinly populated and top-heavy.
