I think the Joshua, Fury and Wilder era is slowly coming to an end. If Fury defeats Wilder and Joshua defeats Usyk we will probably see that next before any eliminators. If Fury retires after Wilder III or the Joshua fight if it happens and he wins then he'll vacate all the belts for the new generation. Whyte, Hunter, Hrgovic, Joyce, Dubois, and Yoka. Bakole, Sanchez, Ajagba, Jalolov, Makhmudov, Anderson and Gassiev as potential replacements/substitutions. I think we'd see more upsets happen in a heavyweight tournament and i don't remember it being done before in the world super series. I think it would be something which would rejuvenate the sport and i'd hope some fights would happen in america. I don't know how they'd set up the tournament in a traditional fashion or round robin type scenario with a group stage. I think the casual audience wants to see knockouts and it's something which will bring them so it would help boxing get more popular again especially state side. I think if Fury gets Joshua next after Wilder and beats Joshua he'll retire on top and may potentially come back for a big money rematch. I think then a tournament would be a good idea for all the vacated belts to be unified again.
Every division would benefit from the Super Series Tournament but I feel LHW needs it the most to make more people care about Bivol and Beterbiev.
I think the lightweight division should get one. Lopez, loma, davis, kingrye, jojo, rowley, love kombosas, zepeda.
Welter and Light Heavy would be my picks because those are the two main divisions where the best are not fighting the best. But let's face it, if Spence/Bivol and his team cannot get something setup with Crawford/Beterbiev and his team for all the marbles, how in the hell are they gonna commit to a tourney? Too many egos and too much A-side / street side bull****.
Everyone north of 140 bc the fights arent getting made at the higher weights except 168 bc Canelo has the money to get the big opponents no matter what
