Golovkin's Promoter: No Word From Lara and His Team

After his dominating points win over Delvin Rodriguez on Friday night in Chicago, Erislandy Lara and his reps weren't shy about expressing their desire to face WBA middleweight titlist, Gennady Golovkin.

So have they dialed up K2 Promotions?

"No, I haven't heard from his camp," said Tom Loeffler, the Managing Director of K2 Promotions, who has masterfully handled the career of 'GGG' the past few years.

"We're still trying to figure out the next date and what the next opponent for Gennady. Lara had his win on Friday but we're just going through to see who's the best opponent for Gennady at this point."

But given the current politics that exist - Lara is affiliated with Al Haymon and Premier Boxing Champions - is this match-up even realistic?

Loeffler answered - "I mean from our side we're pretty neutral. We do have an exclusive contract with HBO. I haven't approached the topic yet with HBO, if they would even approve someone like Lara. But if that becomes more of a serious conversation, that's something we'll certainly approach them with."

The clear goal for Golovkin is to consolidate the middleweight division. Currently he has the IBO, WBA and the WBC interim titles in his possession.

"Gennady's focus is to unify the titles. That would be his top priority at this point, to fight another champion at the middleweight division,"explained Loeffler.

Yet Kell Brook contacted Team GGG.

Lara didn't. He also had a chance to contact him when the Dec 10th card fell through.

What did he do?

He fought Yuri Foreman.

And by the way (this one is really gonna sting, so brace yourself) Brook >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Foreman

Lara "I want to fight GGG". Fights Foreman. lololololol

Oh by the way. Brook was also a lot more competive than Lara would be. Want to see Lara's gameplan (if he was forced into the ring by armed guards). Go see what Malik Scott tried v Luis Ortiz. Except there would be nowhere to run against GGG.

Kell Brook's people did that. Erislandy Lara's people have never done that. You know why? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT THE FIGHT. He uses GGG's name for publicity. He is more than happy to be overpaid to fight a hasbeen like Foreman. (Who you probably argue was the best fight available for Lara lolol).

Of course, I believe you know this anyway put find the fact GGG's an Eastern European with K2 ABSOLUTELY SICKENING and you just bash him because you've never inserted your ***** into a moist vagina or lubricated anus.

Indeed. And I remember the only other two teams that contacted him was Heliand's and Tureneno Johnson's. Lara is not on that list? Hmmm. Oh Yeah, he was too busy being over paid to fight a bum in a **** fight like he normally is.
