Boxing at its best is untouchable. But MMA/Kickboxing comes very close. Some of the complaints about about the current state of boxing are true but MMA fans are much more willing to buy into hype and excuse mismatches, poor PPVs and even mange to convince themselves that all the top MMA matches get made all the time. Boxing has a larger talent pool also.

Because of rich history, boxing always my primary one. And not just in combat sports. Generally speaking. But i also like MMA ( especially Pride events was great ). In 2011 MMA tap Boxing ass.
I've just never felt that excited or wowed by an MMA fight. I respect the sport and its participants and its disciplines, but it just doesn't compare for me.
Boxing ever so slightly for me. Love watching both though Like that boxing is more established, the history, established amatuer set up etc. Also like that boxing gyms are still more accessible and community based. For example i was attending classes at both an mma gym and a boxing gym. The boxing gym was pound per session, the mma £6 per session or £70 per month. Seems to be the case across most gyms as i can see
