    Just watched the Shannon Briggs fight. He didn't take the safety first route in that.

    I thought he dealt quite well with adversity in the two Valdez fights and the second Briscoe fight. Do you not think he figured out what he did wrong? then changed it up?

    Look at the way with Briscoe he gets hit with a massive shot. then goes straight back to outpointing him or gets dropped by Valdez gets up and then dominates him.

    Apologies mate. Mis-understood the thread title. Thought it meant taking the safe route by not fighting anyone of any quality in their defenses. Yeah id go with that. Lewis could look laid back at times and coulda been more agressive in quite a few fights

    No he didnt, nor did he in the Grant and Golota fights, but I think Lewis felt those guys were less threatening from a technical and mental standpoint.
