I remember Lennox Lewis commentating on a fight where Eugenia Williams was announced to be one of the scoring judges. He sounded disgusted.

It is boxing, there is no need for an apology, corruption and politics are a big part of the sport; always has, probably always will...

As much as I love the art of the sport, I am to in awe of some of the politicians in our great sport.

Lewis/HolyfieldI was not really a huge in the sports history, it comes after the last golden era of the sport (74-90), and Lewis was respected but not really known in Britain, having not fought on free TV since Ruddock, and Holyfield was the geezer who had his ear bit off.

I suspect in the US, Holyfield was more known and respected, but Lewis was not that highly thought of going in, and outside of the USA and UK, who really cared for the fight, other than the hardcore fan?

A horrible draw was Bob Foster-Jorge Ahumada. Ahumada won that fight handily at lest 9 to 6 in rounds..scoring all night long with left hooks. Big time highway robbery. Jorge should have been crowned champion that night...

No. 1 Hearns vs Leonard II. Tommy clearly won the fight.

No. 2 Fenech vs Nelson I. Jeff easily won that fight. Sadly, that was about it for him.
