    PBF-Pacquiao, or Haye-Wlad? Two fights that should have happened long ago, but are still haven't happened for a whole host of different reasons. Endless rhetoric from all fighters concerned, but still no megafights. Anyone else just fed up with it all? Just make the ****ing fights:deal. I've almost gone past the point of even caring about either fight now due to the constant disappointment of not getting either fight. As fight fans, we line all of the fighters' pockets when we pay subscription fees, pay for PPVs, and pay for tickets and merchandise, but it seems no **** at the top of the fight game cares about what it's fans want. Boxing fans have the oddest of relationships with their sport than all other sports, IMO.

    Please vote and discuss or let the thread and rant die:lol:.

    Haye v Wlad for me. I've lost interest to be honest.

    I can't see the fight happening, not this year anway. So this whole pantomime of 'negotiations' and posturing just leaves me cold now.

    Both equally as tedious.

    Think we'll at least get to see Pac/Floyd as their next fight.

    Haye/Wlad could go on for ages yet.

    Haye-Wlad was at least close to happening once.

    Can't see Pac-Floyd ever happening.

    That was before Haye won the WBA. Its too easy for him to make money now by going down easier avenues than taking on a Klit....Just cant see it happening.

    Pac/Floyd will happen,too much cash and pride involved for it not to

    IMO the difference between the two fights are now that in the Pac/Floyd bout,both want the fight and believe they can win

    Pac/Floyd by a country mile. PED testing went from being a total non-issue to being the biggest crisis the sport has ever faced (in the minds of drones) exacerbated by the overnight experts.

    I kind of resent Haye for talking the talk but dithering about walking the walk.

    "Its all about the glory, not the money.
    I want to fight the Klitschko's, establish a legacy etc etc etc."

    Then he pulls out of 2 fights, seems reluctant to agree to a 3rd, and is talking about fighting Harrison.

    I'm sorry, but when you said all that Haye has said, and done what Haye has done (with the t-shirts etc) then you need to man up and fight, or risk losing everyones respect.

    I agree. As someone who has blood tested regularly, I am fed up of all of the overnight haematologists who have come out of the woodwork to preach to people about blood tests and the 'effects' it has on your body and mental make-up. Some of the **** I've read is not only factually incorrect, it has been hilarious.

    The whole drug testing issue has completely marred all of the talk about what was an interesting fight, and killed the anticipation that I had for the fight as well. As a result of PBF's stance on demanding the tests, the assumptions that have appeared since have also been pathetic. Comments like: 'If Pac doesn't take the test then he's obviously a cheat' and 'Floyd's only demanding the tests so he can duck Pac' have got old really quick and there seems to be a new thread by some expert every ten minutes.

    The problem now is that, because both fighters have been so obdurate with their particular stance on this issue, the fight will only happen if someone eats a shitload of humble pie and tones down their ego.

    I honestly do think that Floyd brought the tests up as a means of ducking Pac though.

    I dont. I see it as more of an ego boost for him, to have Pac take the tests. It's been blew out of proportion now which also means I very much doubt we'll see him back down on his stance. The only way I see the fight happening now is if Pac just says "**** it ok, let's do it"

    haye - wlad for me. i want to see both fights but i think PBF-Pac has more inevitability about it.

    I couldn't say which was more boring because they are both the same, its ridiculous and utterly boring. I'm completely bemused why people take sides and spend so much time on this. If they happen I'll be very pleased but until then I don't give a monkeys and I'll concentrate on fights that are actually happening. It's sort of like the people that sit around reading the Sun and praying for the next football transfer.
