Joe Calzaghe deserves a mention even though his resume lacks quality and prime wins.

Pernell Whitaker took very little punishment. Floyd Mayweather, as well.

Floyd did not fight the top guys when he should have. He handpicked at the right time.. Guys who fought top guys like Pernell didn't take much except against Tito. But I would pick Sugar Ray Leonard. Fought the best and didn't take too much punishment.

Another vote for Wlad. He was allergic to damage and knew how to avoid it.

Marlon Starling wasn't hit flush often, and didn't fight on too long either. Though I guess he was badly concussed at least one time in his career, but that was a bit of a freak accident.

Ehhh, his fight against Junior Jones was a pretty hard one. He ate a lot of the same right hands that knocked out Barrera.

Hopkins is another who didn't take much. Especially considering he kept on until he was 50.

Hopkins took some big shots in some of his fights especially against pascal 1& 2, rjj 1(underrated fight because of quiet crowd and bored larry merchant) mercado 1 kovalev and smith

I don't think the shots he took against Mercado was all that, mostly off balance knock downs. That's my recollection at least.

For the rest of the fights you mention he was 45-51 years old. And not even the Kovalev fight was really a beat down, even though it was dominant win. Mostly Hopkins stayed out of harms way.
