Which elite fighter is/wasn't on PED's in your opinion?

Doubt Rigondeaux would be on roids either.

 

Ive been watching/involved in sports for the last 30 years and ive come to the conclusion that clean athletes are a rare exception and not the rule. Everybody on something as far as im concerned.

 

They're all on roids except GGG, kovalev, loma, golwacki and tyson fury

just kovalevs build its very natural and wirey, looks the opposite of a peds user. but this a guessing game after all

Roberto Duran according to Christian Guidace's Hands of Stone took an injection used on race horses for his Edwin Viruite (sp) fight designed to give him strength. It backfired and he had an off night. So it didnt enhance but the intent was there. Now maybe it was a lie//excuse for a poor night out

Muhammad Ali and the thyroid pills for Holmes. He used something in the form of medication to take weight off. Yes it back fired but again the intent was there

These seem harmless but it shows the greats looked for extra ways to win and at the end of the day this is their job its their life its how they put dinner on the table and stay off the streets or out of jail. These guys will do what they can to get an edge and to win

I know its a different sport but in the 30 for 30 ESPN Special on Ben Johnson they said something like the entire 1984 US track team submitted random testing to their own training staff and almost all of the test came up bad. I think that says something

My dad always quotes a survey from the olympics I dont know the year but it asked if you could take a pill that guaranteed gold but took 25 years off your life and no one would know you took it would you take it? I think he said like 90% anonymously answered yes

I remember in school watching an MTV Made about steroids and one of the guys on it was a low level local circuit MMA fighter. He had 1 fight which was a loss and wanted to make a living fighting. He took the stuff got in better shape and knocked out his next opponent filmed on the show. If this nobody is taking something what do you think everyone else is doing?

I had kids at my high school taking stuff to get an edge.

Im off my soap box, I guess it constitutes what you consider a PED. Guys as far back as the beginning of organized fighting have been doing stuff to get an edge

I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for anyone, but there are some who really seem to want better and rigid testing.
Take Cunningham for instance, he really looks like the odd American out with wanting and demanding better testing, without restricions.
But history has also shown that people pointing fingers often have something to hide themselves.

 

Well i have taken coffe pills and consumed alcohol before a match.
I had to drink a little because i was frozen with fear.
The pills were to get my blood going because i felt like **** due to a long stretch with the flu.

Then you have the regular fat burners(that are mostly bs), and i have taken those.

Everyone on any level is looking for an edge, it all comes down to what they are taking.
