Which is his right - it just doesn't make for heroic efforts and legendary fights. It's not as bad as the Dempsey's and the Jeffries' of the worlds, though.
I agree. Dana always tells the guys put on a performance, he outlines the bonuses they can get etc It makes for good fights.
Floyd did try to finish him but people seem to forget that Marquez has granite for a chin. Pac knocked that guy down 3 times legitmately in one round and still couldnt KO him. If Pac cant do it theres no way even the precision laser guided bombs Floyd was throwing were going to do it.
Floyd tried to finish him in a way he doesn't excel. The pot shotting and scoring punches won't get him a stoppage. The odd shot with some meat on it won't get him anywhere. Floyd didn't open up with 2 and 3 shots that all hurt. He didn't get a little tired trying to hurt him. Floyd was Floyd but damn when it comes to finish do I wish Floyd was Ray Leonard. Floyd should ask his daddy what Ray does when he wants to finish.
Unfortunately. I watched Round 2 again yesterday. Even after a knockdown he has no kill in him. Jack Dempsey he is not.
