Which feat of the below feats is the hardest to accomplish in boxing?

Wining a world title and retiring un-defeated

Coming back from multiple Knockouts losses to win a lineal championship and make 5+ title defenses

Moving down in weight from a fighters original weight class and winning a title

Being out of the game in your mid 30’s for 3 years or more than winning a world title.

Winning all four major belts at the same time.

Never being behind on points in any of fighters pro fights. 40 fight minimum.

Suffering zero knock downs in 40 fight or more.

Winning a title and retiring undefeated...followed by never being knocked down. I'm sure it'll be pointed out how wrong I am.

That would be Marciano, Clazaghe, Ottke, Lopez, McAuliffe, and a few others who retired undefeated. But many question their opposition level or say they had draws, or in some cases a gift decision.

The list of fighters never to be floored that had 40+ fights vs. top ten level opposition is a short one. Villa, McCall, V. Klitschko, and Valuev. I think Villa belongs on this list, not 100% sure.

I think winning a title and retireing undefeated seems to be the hardest because so few actually do. Even though so many aim for it.

The temptation or necessity of making money out of the title (and the champions backers getting a return on their investment) is far too great or too much of a reality to pull the plug on a career after getting to the top. I am prepared to say 90% need to continue to avoid making a lifetime boxing career being a complete financial loss.

However, think about why more don't make it. Hypothetically it can be done quite easily if every unbeaten challenger who wins a title retired on their championship winning night there would be thousands of champions retireing unbeaten.

So it is the "walking away" that is the hardest.

Other than that I recon losing multiple fights by knockout then winning a linear title and defending it five times is being quite fantastical. How many times has that been done?

    Two questions:

If someone gets stopped via cuts, injury etc. does that equate to being knocked down or not? (ie in all cases the fighter can't finish the fight)

Was Chavalo ever knocked down? (I don't think so, but I think he was TKO'd twice on his feet if I'm not mistaken)

The only thing that matters in a boxers legacy is resume. Who you beat and when you beat them.

Everything else simply does not matter.

Question 1 ) No. So Chavlao wasn't down vs Frazier even though he was injured.

Question 2 ) Chavalo's knock down in the Bonavena was discussed here. It happened, but the ref did not call it.

Number three, because it is the only one where it is specified that the title must be lineal.

When you allow a given feat to be achieved with a non lineal title, or no title at all, it becomes exponentially easier.
