I voted Pacquiao-Marquez II. Hopkins-Calzaghe is the only non-rematch so that adds to the intrigue of it, not seeing them 2 in the ring before, but I don't think they'll make a very fan-friendly bout.
I've been looking forward to all these fights but I picked JMM/Pac on the poll because this is long overdue.
For sheer drama leading up to the fight and wondering what will happen, Hops/Calzaghe. But in terms of just action and looking forward to watching the fight itself, JT/Pavlik. Heck, i choose all 3. I want to watch them all.
How anyone can not pick Pacquiao-Marquez II is beyond me. atsch I find it hard not to write off any of the goofballs that salivate over Pavlik-Taylor II...I don't see how any sophisticated boxing fan could be a fan of either...but there are some otherwise decent posters who are very excited about that fight (and really thought the first one was something special) and they cannot be dissuaded, so I must reluctantly just accept their different opinion and the futility of trying to change it. Calzaghe-Hopkins will be interesting, but even diehard Calzaghe fans have to admit this isn't half as exciting as Calzaghe-Kessler was. Going from a Supermiddleweight unification match against the #2 guy in the world (who many picked to win) to a boring, predictable affair with a boring, predictable old retiree? atsch Not even CLOSE to one of the most anticipated rematches of the decade, with tons of momentum behind both guys and legacy bragging rights on the line.
