well i for one dont see what in the world you have against KP and JT's first fight, nor their rematch... nor them.
It was so funny when the ESPN crew were interviewing him when Miranda KOed that guy he was fighting. And Testatore asked Pascal, "You want to fight HIM?" And Pascal seemed unsure. Freaken hilarious.
Ok, well... 1) It was an okay fight, I have nothing against it really, except that it was called FOTY - by many people, in the same year that both Vazquez-Marquez I and II took place. ****ING SACRILEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not 1/100th the fight either V-M was!!!!! :fire:fire:fire:fire:fire:fire:fire 2) Their rematch should be no different. A good, solid scrap. Their stylistic matchup promises some modicum of excitement, if I had more emotionally vested in either guy it would probably be a really big deal for me. Which leads me to... 3) Enough has been said about Taylor - he is a damn-shame waste of athleticism with a bad case of mental diarrhea (almost like a little Golota), while Pavlik is a very good pressure fighter but still far too unpolished and possessing of far too many weaknesses for the invulnerability bestowed upon him by his sycophants. I'm not ready to accept either as the #1 middleweight in the world just yet (especially not until one of them fights Abraham) - and if that day comes that I have to, well that will be a sad day for the middleweight division IMO.
I'll go with Marquez vs Pacquiao II (they are great all around), Calzaghe vs Hopkins will be a great fight, but because of Hopkins style I'll put it at #2 (but I'll see the fight, hell yeah!) and Kelly Pavlik vs Taylor at #3 (BTW, I'll see this fight too, hell yeah!). 1. Marquez Pac-Man II 2. JC vs B-Hops 3. KP vs JT II
