We have 3 title fights this Saturday involving heavy punchers (Tank, Benavidez, Matias) and the fights are either going to be very competitive or a slaughter. Which fight are you most excited for and which do you think will most likely go the distance?

If it was written in stone that the winner faces Loma I'd say Wahid v Martin, but it isn't and probably won't be so I'm not that interested.

Benavidez v Gvozdyk is a great style clash and makes Benavidez mandatory challenger in two divisions simultaneously, it's hard not to take notice.

Benavidez vs Gvozdyk no doubt, Gvozdyk will knock the wheels off the Benavidez hype train and I'm all here for it.

    This.

    It answers two questions:
    1. How good is Benavidez without his usual size advantage?
    2. How much does Gvozdyk have left?
Even a seventy percent Gvozdyk will give Benavidez hell and be the best opponent he's faced.

I think they're all good fights but I'm looking forward to Tank-Martin the most. I think Martin's style is going to pose alot of problems for Tank, especially early on in the fight.

Gvozdyk vs Benavidez, Gvozdyk beats him, Benavidez relies too much on his size and I don’t see him having much success moving up, Gvozdyk is a great boxer with power, he will walk him onto something, Benavidez can’t impose himself on him the same way he could with guys at 168lbs, yes he has hand speed, but he still relies on being able to take what you have, not be bothered, impose himself on the opponent and wear them down, you can’t get away with that when you’re not the bigger man, Gvozdyk is a relatively big 175lbs, I don’t see what gameplan Benavidez could use to beat him, like when Hurd moved up, yes people didn’t expect him to do well, but they didn’t expect him to lose to the guys he lost to.
Gvozdyk looked slower than he used to in his last notable fight against Bolotniks, but he also looked a lot bigger for some reason, I still believe he has enough left to beat Beneavidez, a big factor though is how much desire Gvozdyk still has, that could be a reason he looked slower.

It's very hard for me to get up for a fight these days, get my juices flowing, make my testicles tingle so to speak, unless it's a HEP ie. a His Excellency Promotions, a British domestic dust up, one of those early morning Japanese leprechaun cards from over Japan, or a fight featuring one or more of my favourite boxers.

I can't watch US slickness anymore due to the substandard product, the robberies and corruption, and the Jon Snowization (if you catch my drift?) of slickness that is the American school.

I know that Crawford vs Madrimov card is a HEP but I don't believe this one is which is a bummer.

Re. which fight I'm most looking forward to. That would be Benavidez
vs Gvozdyk. I think Gvozdyk is a pale shadow of his former self from what I've seen or certainly not near the prime version of himself but I'm hoping the inactivity played a part in how he's looked during his comeback and he might have more left in the tank than I fear he does.

Either way, he was such a talented fighter in his prime it's good to see him back at the elite level and hopefully he can turn back the clock, put on a great show, and we get to see a cracking fight.

I thought Gvozdyk looked very promising vs Bolotniks. The first few rounds were unimpressive with Gvozdyk going through the motions, but once he smelt blood and went for the finish it looked like none of his killer instinct was gone.

Personally Benavidez/Gvozdyk is the one that interests me the most. I'm still not sold on Benavidez and Gvozdyk even this faded version should answer some questions.

Seems like people aren't too interested in Subriel Matias vs Liam Paro. I honestly think that's a sure fire slugfest however long it lasts. Only question would be if Paro can manage to see the final bell or if he ends up succumbing to the Matias onslaught.

Matias Paro as it's on normal DAZN & I'm also interested to see what Paro brings, thought he looked really good in his last outing.

Not paying ****ing prime PPV for that other ****.

I just rewatched a few minutes of one of his recent fights and he looked better than I remembered. A pale shadow of his former self is an exaggeration but he definitely doesn't look the same as he did in his prime. He seems more stationary now and Benavidez struggles with movers so I'm hoping he still has his legs and his movement.

But ultimately I think Benavidez is too young, fresh and hungry, is going to be a very big LHW, whereas, conversely, Gvozdyk is 37 y/o and I don't think he has the same desire anymore.

I hope I'm wrong as he was a fantastic fighter in his prime and if it wasn't for Beterbiev either he or Bivol would've been the dominant force in this era or, as with Beterbiev and Bivol, the #1 and #2 LHWs of it.
