Hello everyone. First off happy new year to everybody and hope you are doing fine. Boxing starts off with a solid schedule with a couple of potential early fight of the year candidates. Which of these fights listed above are you most excited for? :sherlock:

Absolutely. It would be tragic if we didn't get to see it now after one of them fell at the final hurdle

I love the Mustang but General Okunka is hardly some super fight for him. Definition of stay-busy, don't expect it to be very competitive.

Beterbiev vs. Smith has FOTY potential. Mung vs. Gorilla could easily degenerate into a sloppy mess but on paper maybe the best of the rest.

Obviously, the biggest, most important fight is Beterbiev - Smith. However, after watching Smith find no answers for Canelo Alvarez' pressure I cannot see him coming up with anything to stop Beterbiev's non-stop, come forward approach. Eventually, Smith crumbles.

I chose the Ryder / Munguia bout. That is the fight I am most excited to watch. I expect it to be an action packed, barnburner which has no chance of going the distance. The both eschew solid defense and both take a good punch. This should be a lot of fun.

Ortiz-Lawson, only because we rarely get to see Ortiz Jr. fight.

    The response is overwhelmingly Beterbiev-Smith.

It makes me to sick to think that AB hasn't had a mega payday yet.

    Happy New Year everyone.

This month is definitely stacked with some nice fights. I’m excited to see Beterbiev and Ortiz back in action and providing a nice stoppage win to start the month. Munguia vs Ryder and Teraji vs Canizales are fights that I think are most likely going to be fun, competitive fights.

Beterbiev vs Smith is the fight I’ll be quick to tune in this month mainly because I want to see Beterbiev make a statement so we can finally have the fight with Bivol happen.
