Some quality fights coming our way post Marquez-Bradley. I've made a poll so vote away. If you think I've omitted a fight better than the 10 posted then throw it in. Anyway, I'm most looking forward to Hernan Marquez - Giovanni Segura in early November. Down at flyweight, where both were outboxed and beaten down by Brian "Hawaian Punch" Viloria. Both are fighting to maintain there relevance at top level, more so Segura, who lost most recently to Edgar Sosa following a prolonged spell out of the ring. Should be an absolute war, Segura "El Guerrero Azteca" opting for his all out relentless aggression as per, "Tyson" Marquez opting to box a bit more, but still trading. This one will be fun for sure. I'm also looking forward to Alvarado - Provodnikov, Pacquiao - Rios, Froch - Groves and Broner - Maidana. Malignaggi - Judah will be exciting purely for the spectacle, perhaps not the actual fighting.
Alvarado vs Provodnikov Froch vs Groves Garcia vs Martinez Broner vs Maidana you can't go wrong with these fights. the rest of them are good solid fights, but these stand out for me.
Im looking most forward to Wards fight but it doesn't seem to be listed. After that , tonights main event After that, Pacman vs Rios
For me, I would have to list them in the following order: 1. Marquez vs. Segura - close war for relevance at the top of the division 2. Alvarado vs. Provodnikov - close war for supremacy at the top of the division 3. Broner vs. Maidana - the classic boxer vs. brawler fight. Should be fun to watch 4. Pacquiao vs. Rios - a possible mismatch but guarantees highlight reels 5. Garcia vs. Martinez - I'm a fan of Garcia's boxing style
too hard to pick, but Alvarado-Provo will be an absolute war. Pac-Rios - will tell a lot about Pacs future GGG-Stevens -bombs away Garcia - MArtinez - Garcia will paste him Paulie-Judah - the trash talk should be epic Not sure about Boner-Maidana. Could be good, could be a bore.
I hope so :bbb There is a growing consensus that Alvarado will box Provo the way he did Rios second time around, however.
I'm not so sure Rodriguez will make it much of a fight. Once Ward shakes off any rust, I see that one being one sided. It will be good to see Andre back in there though, and with a live dog too.
:deal And that's not even including; - Kell Brook Vs Vyacheslav Senchenko - Another Bernard Hopkins outing - Mago Vs Perez and Adamek Vs Glazkov in 50/50 heavyweight contests - Donaire - Darchinyan rematch - Andrade - Martirosyan - Barker - Sturm - Gradovich - Dib II and - Another likely masterclass from Rigo against Joseph "King Kong" Agbeko. Yep, boxing is alive and well.
