Do you honestly believe CEJ would go back to 160 to fight for an Interim strap?

Seriously?, why would he do that? So he can get a guaranteed 25% in a rematch with Billy?

FFS he can barely make 160 so why would he kill himself to make a fight with a guy like Langford?
Langford has 2% chance of beating Khurtsidze, he can only beat him if he picks up an injury.
Langford wont even make it to the 2nd half of the fight

The point was he swerved him with his elbow injury.

What makes you think CEJ cant make 160?

Eubank has stated himself that he is still looking at opportunities at 160. Although he has already ducked opportunist with Jacobs, GGG and a Saunders rematch so I'm not sure there are many fighters left who he can duck lol.

Did you see what he looked like @ the Quinlan weigh in @168?

He has always struggled to make 160 and it is only getting harder, he's pretty much out grown the division, but would go down for a big fight

Everybody should sacrifice for big fights, Langford isn't a big fight and Jr would gain zero beating him, no respect and it wouldn't even be a good pay day.

Eubank has only had one big fight at 160. He's done nothing in that division apart from beat up on domestic level fighters. There's a few big fights for him at that weight but he's not interested, which is a shame because he's actually quite good. His size and power fade at 168 and I can't see him moving beyond domestic level in that division either.

I don't see what big fights there are for him at 168 either. Hearn said they opened negotiations with Eubank's team for DeGale but they immediately broke down because the Eubank's insisted on the lion's share of the purse.

    Talk about deluded.

No idea what you're on about. CEJ can make 160lb with his eyes closed, he's not a big middleweight.

Before the BJS fight he only had 1 fight @ 160, out of 25 fights he has had about 7 fights @ 160
Half of his fights @ 160 he has needed a 2nd weigh in because he missed weight on the 1st attempt

Jr is a very big middleweight, height and frame wise

I dunno I think he's quite big at 160. 5'11", broad frame. Definitely one of the bigger MWs around. Against Doran remember he initially weighed a couple ounces over and he was absolutely diced, totally shredded. Don't think he'll fight at 160 again tbh.

EDIT: was meant to quote DirtyOldTown's post.

remember him missing weight on the O'sullivan fight.

Wasn't Quinlan his first fight at 168? thought all his other fights have been at 160.
