    Ali,Frazier FOTC. Pryor/Arguello. SRL/Hearns . Hagler/Hearns. Gomez/Sanchez. The build-up for these fights were incredible ! And they were pick-em fights as well... AlFrancis, how could I forget Leonard/Duran !!

the biggest AND best was Hagler-Hearns. ALi-Frazier was very good but not quite in same league

who ever thought we'd be saying that 15 yrs after FOTC?

    least suspenseful? Norris-srl of course

Even tho one of the biggest underdogs in recent memory, we know Terry had it IN THE BAG. once the hand speed came tothe forefront, that was all she wrote! :smoke

I wouldn`t expect someone with your limited cerebral resources to understand that Dad and myself did in fact go to that mega fight. Unlike you, I don`t have to bs anyone... You are incredibly immature... The line of work I have been in for years in our family business actually has allowed me to be at some great, live actual championship fights... Then again I wouldn`t expect someone of your intelligence (lack of) or maturity level to comprehend that...

I was a 14 year old big into boxing watching Holmes vs Norton. It was a seesaw battle, with a 15th round that kept you on the edge of your seat. What a fight. The 1st Ali vs Spinks fight, as I improbably watched one of my boxing heroes lose.

Favorite had to be Al/Foreman/Frazier series of fights.

For the lighter weight guys, the battle of the z men--Zarate and Zamora. After that was the Sanchez--Gomez fight and last was the Mugabi--Hagler fight. Lots of folks didn't think the Beast was not even going to be competitive in that one. but I just knew Marvin was going to have to dig deep in that one and I thought dig deeper than Hearns to win it.

Hagler beat the **** out of Mugabi and won nearly every round comfortably.Ended his career more or less.

Impressive for the fact he took some huge punches to do it and was looking definitely past his best, but the actual fight wasn't that competitive imo.

    Ali-Foreman !

I recall like it was yesterday, setting my alarm clock at an unearthly hour and listening to it on the radio. I was dancing round my bedroom when it was over :D And I still managed to be awake when it was time to get up for work !

I repeated this feat several times after that with Leonard-Hearns 1 & II,Hagler-Hearns and quite a few others.

Trinidad/DelaHoya had me on the edge of my seat. I looked forward to that one for a long time. Until the bell rang. :?
