So all the unofficial judging, 120 for Pacquiao, 1 for Bradley, 1 draw...many of whom were ringside or watching the British broadcast on BoxNation, all these guys were swayed by HBO commentating as well, even though they couldn't be heard? Amazing, these HBO guys really have some influence. They even got to Jeff Mayweather, who had it 118-110 for Pacquiao. They even affected Andre Ward's opinion on the matter. Maybe it's some Fringe type of phenomena, mind control or some **** similar to that.
Missing the point. When it comes to Manny, people see what they want. Steve Bunce has talked about it. Called it 'Manny disease'. Affects fans, press and commentators alike. Anything that even looks like it came close to landing is a 'Boom', to quote the amazingly gay and cheesy Lampley. It's right there in the video, you don't have to take my word for it. If you watched the video, you saw 15 minutes of highlights showing Manny missing a lot due to Bradley's fantastic head movement and Bradley doing great work controlling the later stages of the fight with his jab. That alone proves the fight was closer than people thought, there's no discussion, it's right there in black and white.
Oh wah. :| Block me if you can't handle a difference of opinion you mong. My opinion is pretty well articulated in the above video. Pac SHOULD have won the fight and gave rounds away De La Hoya style. If you're missing as much as he was and only fighting 1 minute per round for the last 6 rounds, you shouldn't be surprised when the judges don't side with you.
Bradley actually has to throw and land for him to win the round, and it doesn't matter if he fights for a minute or 10 second, if it is more than what Bradley did in the rest of the round. Do you know how to score a fight?
Still haven't watched the video. Plenty of Bradley throwing and landing. Watch it, you'll enjoy it. Even if it destroys all your preconceptions.
JMM-Pac III, whilst it was still a win for JMM, was far closer than what Pac-Bradley was - which was completely one-sided.
Which is what he was doing. Watch the video. He wasn't doing more than Bradley down the stretch, he was being downright lazy letting Bradley steal rounds with jabs and body work. I'm plenty confident in my ability to score a fight, I could give a **** how other people see it because I know the casuals that populate combat sports are about as dumb as fans get in any sport.
