It's hard to really pick one. I know many will say corrales-castillo but i actually like the marquez-vazquez and ward-Gatti trilogy. Diaz-Marquez, Pac-Marquez,Barrera-Morales, Gatti-Ward etc were all good fights.

You lucky *******.... I cant believe you got to see the great Erik Morales in his prime live AND in the best fight ever.

    That should have been me.

Pacquiao-Cotto was too one sided IMO to be Fight of the Year. I'd pick Marquez-Diaz as FOTY, but I haven't fully watched Cordoba-Dunne.

Castillo vs Corrales for me. I expected a good fight and tuned in and got a fight that exceeded any expectations I could have had. I gotta say though it's a really tough choice between this one and Morales vs Barrera 1 or Casquz vs Marquez 3 but the dramtic ending seals the deal for me

A fight that deserves to be mentioned along with all those others is Morales vs Pacquiao 1

Corrales-Castillo 1 is my choice (it's actually my #1 fight of all-time). Masterful in-fighting and good action that kept increasing as the fight went along, to an amazing round 8. Round 8 was such vicious two-way action, yet it's not even remember that much, because of another amazing round two rounds later.

Barrera-Morales 1 is up there toward the top of the list, of course. Cotto-Torres, Gatti-Ward 1, Trinidad-Vargas, Margarito-Cotto, Vazquez-Marquez 3, and Sithatchawal-Monishpour were all great fights as well.

Castillo vs Corrales. Without a doubt. Not the same skill level as Mab vs EM but it doesn't matter. It still comes out on top.

And the other 9 rounds of Corrales-Castillo 1 were also better than the other 9 of Gatti-Ward 1.

I like to bump this thread every so often. And what better time than the first day of 2010?
