Brook is better than the pair of them, so GGG has nothing to worry about here

Canelo should be able to land more on Golovkin and has better defense than Jacobs. Not sure if Canelo holds up better under the punishment against a real 160 pounder though.

But of course as long as Canelo lands even one rangefinder jab to the body in a round, his judges will be able to give him that round. If Canelo is breathing at the end of round 12, he's always a threat to get a gift decision.

Yeah that's a good point,I'd have had Canelo edging it but when you put it like that Canelos best win to date is probably an aged much smaller man in Cotto,I think 160 would suit Canelo but until he fights a middleweight it's all Unknown?

GGG had an easy time with canelo in sparring hence the bowing down on one knee and vacating. The only thing canelo has is a fatter head than Jacobs. Jacobs didn't vacate we don't know if he gives GGG any problems.

Jacobs could land a Haymaker and possibly knock GGG out. Canelo on the other hand will win on points, regardless of the way the fight goes. 4 knockdowns , blood everywhere , Canelo holding on for dear life will result in a split decision win for the Mexican superstar.

Jacobs he can hurt Golovkin. I'm not sure if Canelo can.

Jacobs is much more of a threat, Canelo is too small end of discussion.

Jacobs hits like a truck at 160
Canelo is just a very good puncher at 154

Canelo may have better skills and durability but he has no work rate and his foot speed is just above average.

Canelo would need to have foot speed like Floyd if he was going to trouble a GGG because he's too short and stumpy.

Canelo has tremendous hand speed but you need the foot speed to get in range.

Jacobs has both and he is long and tall!!!!

Canelo is ****ing underrated. The guy has skills to burn and gives GGG a great fight.

He gives GGG a much better fight than Kell Brook that is for damn sure but that is a pretty loose usage of the term great.

Canelo should stay at 154 and fight guy's his own size, Try to unify the division like GGG at 160

Canelo likes fighters coming to him. GGG like coming to fighters. These two guys can fight in a Phone Booth. The man with the better defense and the fasters hands will win.

I'm pretty sure that when the fight happens, Canelo will be fighting off the ropes countering the slower Golovkin every time he opens up.

What boxing skills of Jacob's are you guys talking about? The guy is a brawler with a glass chin. Show me a match where Jacobs displays boxing skills.

Jacob's recent popularity is a product of luck and favorable matchmaking. He was able to muscle his way through sub-par opposition without any boxing skills, wind-milling his way through. The only two solid opponents he fought are Pirog who easily exposed the lack of boxing skills; and Quillin who on that night stupidly decided to brawl with Jacobs instead of boxing him.

I could see Canelo shattering Jacob's china and I don't even think Cenelo punches that hard at 160.
