Kovalev saw them spar... says it was good and says its a pretty 50)50 type fight. No report Ive seen says Golovkin handled Canelo with ease.... all say it was good work by both with G getting a slight edge. And seeing as how Canelo has improved drastically since then...

I think the difference in GGG & Canelo is CONFIDENCE!!!!
Gennady KNOWS he will win he doesn't think there is any 160 pounder out there to beat him
Canelo doesn't have the same confidence. I admit Ive given him a hard time dissed him, & called him a coward etc but I think it was justified. The way he acted he deserved the backlash
I may be of the old school but there is no way I could do what Canelo did & go back in the gym & face the guys that once supported me my pride wouldn't let me

I think it is Jacobs but the Judges indicated it was Canelo

I prefer Jacobs to Canelo. His defence was worse but his offence was better. He also clearly hits like a truck. Of course thanks to his CLEN, CLENenlo managed to be competitive.

Yep I think you’re spot on and we’ve already got some proof of this as Jacobs was dropped whilst Canelo never looked hurt once to my eye

Golovkin had no problem beating El Pollo at all, even with Oscar's judges and perhaps PEDS..................I had Golovkin beating Jacobs, did not think the fight was close at all.....................tonight Golovkin would have knocked Jacobs out, and yes, he's a cruiserweight! Yet a Jr. Middle weight gave Jacobs pure hell....................it's time for Jacobs to fight Charlo, after all, Charlo beat a cripple and Pee Wee Herman, that makes him the best, by the way, the artice tonight said that Jacobs was the WBA mandatory for Golovkin's title now, NO, he is WBA mandatory for Saunder's WBA title. Golovkin does not have the WBA title..............

Both fighters thought that they won the fight against GGG. Jacobs and Canelo will adapt their styles and strategies to beat GGG in the rematch. They are both dangerous for GGG equally IMO.

Canelo hit GGG with his best, loaded up PED-powered right hand and GGG walked right through it, how is he dangerous?

Clenbuterol aside.. I think it was the other way around when they fought.. GGG was not confident in his ability to avoid Nelo counters so he fought a completely different fight than usual like not working the body.. even when Nelo was gassed and leaning on the ropes GGG was very conservative.. All in all he allowed the judges to screw him in the Canelo fight by being very passive in situations where he would normally become aggressive and canelo did a good job defensively..

GGG looks less monstrous when he’s fighting guys who are serious threats as Jacobs and Canelo was.. The reason I imagine he’s not rushing to face the other younger MWs (Charlo BJS Andrade Dere) is because they all are big MWs with legitimate boxing skills..
