Canelo will probably retire soon, I reckon he believes he needn’t prove much, dude has more money than 95% of boxers ever already.

I'm not sure how Benavidez can be the answer. Beating Benavidez does absolutely nothing for Alvarez" legacy. Canelo is already undisputed and if he beats DB it only means Benavidez wasn't as good as people thought he was. Beating Bivol would reverse his worst career lose and give him a second victory over a highly thought of light heavyweight champion.

    The answer is Dmitry Bivol.

Beating a guy that beat you and getting a belt at a higher weight while doing it is the obvious answer.

For me Bivol. Avenging your loss vs a fighter in a higher weight class who is undefeated is huge for your legacy. Canelo finally has a challenge and is expected to lose for the first time since the 2nd GGG fight.

Vs Benavidez this wouldnt be the case

This poll should be edited to add the words “Winning against” before each option. And in that case, obviously the rematch with Bivol.

What exactly makes you say that? Sure he looks good knocking out lower tier fighters, but the only boxer in his prime that I’ve seen him face is Plant, and regardless of what you say about the reffing, he couldn’t get it done.
