So we've had quite a number for 24/7 shows the past few years and they usually get the job done generating a lot of hype for the fight? For which fight do you think did the actual fight live up to or almost live up to the hype?

Personally I think it's Pac-Cotto, for the 1st four or 5 rounds there were so action packed that I swear there were shades of Hagler-Hearns in those rounds (I'm in no way saying it even compares to that epic fight so many years ago). But sadly, the action became one-sided after the 5th.

I also have very high hopes for Mayweather-Mosley.

    Hatton/Pac was well worth it.

"right hand hook, roll over, same move everytime"

24/7 isn't really about hyping the fight up...it's about giving a look into the goings-on of the fighters involved.

Oh yeah it is man, total promotion tool.

2 pure hours of advertising and hype building.

so you think it has nothing to do with promoting (hyping) the fight?! That's the whole point of the series!

    Pac/Cotto 24/7

Ended in a TKO, was competitive in the beginning. Lots of heart and punches. Not a classic, but a fine fight.

No, the show definitely promotes the fight, but as far as "hyping" it up...well, that depends on what your definition of "hype" is...to me, hype is what Mayweather and Mosley did on their Kellerman face-off. Hype is the little scuffle they had at one of the press conferences...to me, "hyping" and "promotion" are two different things.

    Mayweather vs. Hatton

2 undefeated fighters. There was a bit more intensity in that fight build up.
    The fight itself didn't disappoint.

Pac vs. Cotto was the more "enjoyable" fight. If you're not a Cotto fan.

But the 24/7 that seeemed to brag that the main event would be the goods was Floyd and Ricky. And the fight itself was a good scrap.

    Hatton vs Pacquiao

I would like to say Cotto vs Pacquiao but the 24/7 there was too boring.

Mayweather-Hatton was a good scrap but there was just way too much Joe Cortez involved.

    Think of 24/7 like this...

How many people saw marquez drink his own **** and got curious?
How many people saw floyd act like a ****** leading up to the oscar fight?
How many people got to know cotto and pacquiao and their camps through 24/7?

Who here knows the fat guy with cotto?
Who here knows what questions roger asks celebs at may's gym?
Who here knows who buboy is?
Who here knows who alex ariza or michael koncz are?
Who here knows what disease floyd's dad has?
Who here knows what celebs visit the wild card gym?

All thanks to 24/7 and all **** that gives you a connection to the fighters.
Casual fans see this **** and want to watch these guys fight.

Why no votes for more than one cause several lived up. But I prefer the one 30 min special countdown. More concise to the point no bs drama. Plus eventually all the 24-7s with the same guy were the same thing where as the countdowns with the same guy were always different
