for me, it was Holmes-Shavers 2. It shows larry had a heart of a lion and would virtually climb off the deck from any shot any man threw at him.
Tyson-Douglas reminds me that Tyson was a warrior and had heart.

JMM after the first Pac fight.

I had him down as a likely choker who would never perform to his best in any really big fights he was involved in.

still don't rate him nearly as highly as a lot of other respected posters do, but i certainly gained a lot more respect for him after that fight.

Paulie Malignaggi-Amir Kahn. This was a fight where as it went on Paulie had zero chance of winning, but he still stuck in there giving it his all despite being beaten in every aspect.

Yes and the much maligned Malignaggi for taking his beatings like a man, and throw in the name of Hector Camacho for sucking it up vs Chavez like he did.

Pernell Whittaker taking a licking like a man against Tito when he was past it. I always had the feeling Whittaker wouldnt be able to take punishment like that he proved me wrong!

I've not had a bad word to say about Manny Pacquiao since he destroyed Ricky Hatton in two lop-sided rounds last year. Sure, the Filipino has faced and defeated better and more talented opposition than the Brit, but to step into a new weight class and win so emphatically over an opponent who was coming off a great performance and who'd had never previously lost at 140lbs was wonderful. I found out that night that Manny Pacquiao wasn't just as good as most people thought he was, he was better.

Hatton against Tyszu, thought Hatton was a fraud but he proved me wrong there, the win was overrated at the time but underrated now
