For different reasons the fighters involved in these matches never met again. So which fight deserved a immediate rematch?

    Leonard v Hagler?

    Tyson v Douglas?

    Holmes v Norton?

    Lewis v klitschko?

And what have been the out come iyo?

Holmes vs Norton in my opinion. I think it would have been another great fight but Larry would have won by a bit of a wider margin.

Would have been a another great fight I believe. Norton had a style to trouble holmes and Ken would have been up for it. Trouble is holmes was getting better and Ken was slipping, so I see a great evenly matched fight till the late rounds where holmes will finally break through and stop Norton. Good pick gh.

Douglas beat Tyson fair and square. Lewis was very done by the time he fought Vitali, Vitali had his chance and he blew it.

Leonard V Hagler and Holmes v Norton both deserved an immediate rematch. Probably Holmes v Norton more so because it was closer.

Silly question but if Lewis Gets him self into decent fighting shape, say six months down the line, what's the result of the rematch?

The tyson v Douglas fight left more questions unanswered than the rest of the fights. We would have learned a lot more of both men if they had rematched

I agree. Norton being the older man and having wars behind him was on the decline. Most noticably after his fight with Holmes.

Definitely. But Norton had done well in the first fight with Holmes and to take him to the wire. Poor Ken always seemed to lose the ones that mattered.

Honestly, I don't favour Lewis over Vitali at that stage of his career. I'd say that this was one of those fights where one says 60-40 ... and it's the 40 that comes up.

Ali v foreman should have been set up for a rematch straight away, but it wasn't going to happen. Ali put his body through a hell of a lot against George s clubbing body punches. Plus foreman gassed in the jungle heat. A rematch would have probably taken place in the US. So the odds could have been in George s favour. Little did ali know how fragile Foreman was after the rumble.

It was probably in klitschko s favour if they had of rematched to be honest. Lewis would have come out I believe blasting, trying to get vital out of there. He would dnt have wanted it going in to the later rounds, knowing full well he'd have been struggling. But klitschko had a solid chin and if the scar tissue holds up then Lewis will tire more and more. Then that s when the fight swings in vitali s way. Lewis would be in danger at this point in been stopped, I really believe that.

Pretty much what I think. Lewis showed what a champion he was by getting the win even when he was clearly overconfident and undertrained the first time. His best win imo
