I want to know what fight would prove that Andre Berto is a top fighter. For me I would like to see him take Collazo out in a more convincing fashion as a tune up to one of the following, as thats the only time he was tested.

    So who's next?

    Cotto?
    Mosley?
    Bradley/Alexander?
    Ortiz?
    Kahn/Maidaina?

i'd love to see Alvarez vs. Berto

it would test both of them, especially if Alvarez wins his next fight by a nice KO

What's with all the light welters? And cotto is at LMW. Is there no-one left at WW for him to fight?

Just going off the fact that all the buzz is at WW (even if most of it is for Pac and May). Cotto just went up for the easy title, he can still fight at 147. As for the lww, I think they all have there eyes at ww anyway after they finish with eachother, Khan wants Mayweather anyway. I couldnt see any of them having problems making 147.

    I agree w/ collazo rematch
i really wish berto vs. SSM went as planned, that fight would of both proved him and increase his star power. I totally understand berto canceling fight due to tragedy in his home land.

Go right for the big fish, Pacquiao. He's on the short list of fighters to face him and hopefully he get his chance. He's fast, strong and powerful with youth on his size yet at 27yo he should be close to prime condition none of the bulll**** that he's not ready cause if he isn't now he never will be because Pac won't be around much longer and with Cotto campaining for a fight with Martinez and Mosely being past his best this is the best to "prove his status".

If he can get this fight with Pac thats his best option, if that falls through only then should he consider fighting Cotto or some of the 140lb guys.

They'll never give Collazo a rematch - so a fight with Shane would have been nice.

But any solid Welterweight would do for me - Clottey - Cintron - Margarito - Cotto. He really needs to step up his level of competition. Even if he was to land a shot at Pac - if he loses - people will just say he's never fought anyone - anyway.

About 3 years holding the WBC Title Mayweather vacated and still no real challenge - damn shame. But we can't blame Berto - blame HBO.

Cintron! that would be a decent fight since both fighters are questionable at this stage and since no one likes either one, no matter who loses the fans win! :happy

Rematch with Collazo but I think he's moved up a weight class. Him vs Mosley at this point would be considered a credible win to me, but not to a lot of people I imagine. If not Cotto would do. I can't think of anyone else

Clottey, Cotto, and/or Cintron. If he beats any and all of those guys, I'll give him his props. Until then...
