Louis Schmeling II or Ali Frazier I?

What fight would you consider the real FOTC in terms of it's historical significance? If you feel another fight besides the two listed above should be considered the FOTC, please explain why...

    Ali-Forman..

I always have a chuckle when dudes be talking about fights like Louis-Schmelling.. Did u even see that fight live or were u even around when it took place?? Putting a fight on a pedestal based on what youve read in an article or heard from your grandfather is laughable..

    Ali-Foreman is the FOTC..

Care to name a few heavyweight fights that were much better or fought at a faster pace than Ali-Frazier I? Or that had quite as much out of ring significance as Louis-Schmeling II?

Louis-Schmeling II is Youtube, and it's a hell of a ****-kicking. You should check it out, sometime...

In terms of magnitude it's Louis/Schmeling easily. **** was insane.

In terms of a combo of action and hype though it's Ali/Frazier 1

In terms of action, Chico-Castillo and Izzy-Marquez was alot better than ALi-Foreman/
or Louis-scmhelling so I feel where Larry is coming from..

If u really look into it, there are tons of fights that took place in the 80s-2000s that are alot better than these so called legendary fights.

I dont like watching fights on youtube but I do have Louis-Schmelling on DVD.. The magnitude of the bout may have been huge but in terms of action, I wasn't impressed.

We're talking heavyweight fights, that took place in the 20th century. And, we're talking heavyweight fights that were as hotly anticipated or that carried as much significance as the two fights listed.

In terms of action yes but pre-fight Louis/Schmeling meant much more.
