Was thinking about if Tyson v Foreman had taken place, when both were active ar the same time.
How big the fight would have been.
What are the fight s that would have been massive sellouts?

They have to be fights that could have actually happened, no Tyson V Ali ;)

Not necessary a great fight, but I think Wladimir Klitschko's unification with Nikolay Valuev would've been a monster fight in Germany, particularly when Valuev was still undefeated.

For me....Tyson v Foreman in Tokyo in the Spring of 1990 is the one I lament the most. That fight should have happened.
If Bill Cayton had still been Tyson's manager it would have happened instead of Douglas.

Tyson in his first run was afraid of no one but I do beleive he was intimidated about fighting Foreman. King didn't want the fight and I've never understood why the East Coast boxing cabal of New York journalists unmercillessy mocked Foremans comeback and dismissed him as a non threat in a way that was deranged and irrational. They pissed on Foremans parade until the Cooney fight.

I get that they wanted him to fight contenders from the get go but wjat was so bad about seeing George fight once a month on tv and steadily improve. Guys like Bert Cooper,Qawi,Martin, Rodriguez were not without interest.

I guess they were spoiled for choice back than.

Cayton said if he'd been handling Tysons prison comeback from 1995 he' have had 2 tune ups than a superfight with linear champ Foreman

Even in 97/98 I'd have found the fight Very interesting

AJ V Fury before both lost to Usyk. Also, AJ V Wilder in 2018/19 whilst both were undefeated - that fight had huge hype, the combo of AJ, Hearn, and Sky Sports was genuinely a marketing machine and could sell anything. Before Hearn went to DAZN.

The biggest one of all... Riddick Bowe V Lennox Lewis. Would have been the fight that begun the modern era of boxing.

    Bowe-Lewis
    AJ-Fury (when it made sense)
    AJ-Wilder (when it made sense)
    AJ-Fury (even now)
    AJ-Wilder (even now)

    Freakin AJ.

I seriously don't get why Fury won't do the AJ fight. Fury has lost his 0. He doesn't hold a belt. AJ has lost his 0. He doesn't hold a belt. Yet this fight woulds sell out Wembley, even at crazy high ticket prices, and would be a massive seller on PPV. They'd both make big money. Why not do it? Makes perfect sense. PLUS, ****, I think the Fury of either Usyk fight would beat AJ! What's he afraid of?

Benn-Eubank III if it was on PPV and not free terrestrial tv; more people would rather buy tickets. Could’ve priced them at £150 in 95 and sold out the old Wembley.

The rafters seats were £75 in their rematch, because Manchester United wanted a big cut, and still 43,000 showed up on a cold night when they could’ve easily watched it for 0p in the comfort of their home. A young Ricky Hatton paid £75, all his savings, and said they were like Subbeteo figures from his seat.

God can we let this myth die? “Prime” Mike Tyson was not intimidated by a very old George Foreman… there was no serious conversation with Cus about how no one who goes “at” Foreman could win… there was no meeting where Tyson was saying to King “You fight that monster” blah blah blah he fought Lewis utterly shot, he is not “scared” of the guy who got busted up by Alex Stewart lol it’d have been a good money fight but Tyson would’ve beheaded him in a sensational fashion he told GF he can come and get it… Foreman remember was the guy picking fights with Bert Cooper, Alex Stewart an Obese Qawi… his best win is Moorer, Cooney and Stewart* all the guys he made his 2nd career off were addicts, out of shape or small at the end of the line Tyson as a shell scored a better or equal sole win against Golota lol.

Yes, was hoping that they'd have clashed again.
    Loved their fights.

I liked Eubank’s infighting in the rematch. He definitely won all the infighting that night with know-how from his New York days. But Benn from the outside dodged absolutely everything Eubank launched at him, a lot of which were fight-enders whistling past. Wondered what the tactics might be for a third one from both guys

Toney vs BHOP would have been great for the press conference alone. The fight itself would be very tactical.

I think a third fight would see a more confident Benn, knowing how close he came in the second fight.
Whenever that would work for him or against him, I'm not sure.
